General membership meeting immediately following the Superintendents Convocation.

A meeting of the general membership is scheduled for Tuesday, March27 @ 4:00pm. The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the ratification related to changes in the law in regards to health insurance. This is an extremely important issue that requires our immediate attention. We hope to see you all there.

~ Christine and Kerri have been working tirelessly to negotiate an agreement after the selectman voted to approve the new state law regarding health insurance benefits. They are hoping to have a proposal to present to the general membership very soon. We will send out information as soon as possible.
~ We'd love to have more involvement in the "Member Center" section of the site. Please forward any news to share or anything else you'd like to include.

~ PCEA Award nominations are due to your building rep by Friday, February 10th. Please visit the Documents and Publications page to the left for links to the nomination forms
~ The MTA Support Professionals Annual Conference will be held March 30 & 31in Hyannis. For workshop information and online registration please visit http://massteacher.org/esp
~ If anyone is interested in attending the 2012 PCEA/Local Legislators Dinner please see your building rep. The dinner will be held on Thursday, March 1at Monponsett Inn, Halifax.

~ EAN leaders are working hard to gather information and make sense of the what the recent vote by Town Selectman regarding health insurance means for our members. Information will be forwarded to the general membership as soon as possible.
~ The most recent postings for the 2012/13 school year were sent to each building this week.
